Well, in that lazy afternoon of early september I enjoyed takig thes pictures on my balcony. My friend Veronica is the kind of person suitable for everything, she can play different roles and I made her wear a cocktail vintage skirt in pure silk. The idea of the shooting was hers, so I set some items to choose on a clothes stand and she picked the ones she felt more comfortable into. We mixed styles and I think the result is quite good.

Summer shooting

Some days ago, on a late summer hot day, I had lot of fun making this shooting with my friends Veronica and Marta who performed one as a model for my vintage collection and the other as a photographer.
In these shots Veronica is wearing an evening dress in Grace Kelly's style (well that's what I think about it!) and she was perfectly at ease in the role.
These are the some of the pictures I took while Marta was doing the real job! We made a good team, we spent  a couple of hours shooting, finding accessories, combing Veronica's hair and, of course, laughing!

Nelly Doll

I dedicated this doll to my Mum (and then I gave it to her) because I started making it when I got inspired by a fur scrap I found in one of my boxes. "She" is a true image of her and has become one of the pieces in her lounge!

Brides

Well, last year my other cousin got married and the question was: "should I have appointed her with a special title or make her a  bride doll?". First, I created this crowned doll and afterwards, I officially appointed her and her royal husband with a very special title: "Duke and Duchesse of Scentelle", a secluded kingdom far away in the countryside! (you know, she is so snobbish...!)

 

That's "The Bride" made as a special pre-wedding gift for my cousin who got married almost three years ago. I knew she would have appreciated such a fetish doll ...for its "decadent halo"....!

Friendship dolls

"Marc goes to London" was made for a friend leaving for his favorite place. I made that to make him feel at home whilestaying there!!! Now it's back again!

Miss Myrtle

january 9th

That's Miss Myrtle, a woolen doll made some years ago for a friend who lives in Miami. It's a special creation to me because it has a Nordic style, meant as a remembering of a friendship. Now that she rests on a far western sofa I'm a bit nostalgic and I want to see her again someday!
